Accountant

This role will report to the Head of Financial Reporting and work closely with the Financial Controller and the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the seamless daily operations of the Finance Department. As a key member of a small, dynamic team, you will work across all internal departments within the group companies to provide effective and efficient financial support and services.

Main Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping for various companies.

• Preparation of management accounts for the group’s Companies on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Preparation of corporate tax, withholding tax and VAT computations and tax returns.

• Assisting in the preparation of the necessary reports for complying with the Company’s regulatory obligations to CySEC and central bank.

• Close cooperation and coordination with external auditors, banks, tax consultants and other external business partners.

• Coordination of external audits of group companies, including preparation of audit documentation, communication with external auditors, resolution of audit queries, and ensuring timely completion of audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field

• At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role

• Excellent command of the English language

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel  

• Knowledge of SAP Business One

• Qualified or partially qualified ACA/ACCA is a plus

• Experience within the Forex industry will be considered an advantage

• Familiarity with CySEC reporting will be considered an advantage

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Experience in a high-volume transaction environment

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
