Chief Risk Officer

What you’ll do

• Own the company’s trading risk management strategy across multiple jurisdictions and entities, including trading P&L and revenue optimization

• Design and optimize A-book, B-book and hybrid execution models, with dynamic hedging based on client segmentation and market conditions

• Set risk limits, escalation procedures and real-time monitoring for market, liquidity, counterparty and concentration risks

• Detect and mitigate toxic flow, arbitrage and other forms of trading abuse

• Oversee dealing operations, MT4/MT5 infrastructure, bridges and aggregators, and keep trading running during extreme volatility

• Manage relationships with liquidity providers, prime brokers and tech vendors to improve execution quality and trading costs

• Shape trading conditions (spreads, swaps, leverage, commissions) and partner/rebate programs together with Product, Marketing and Finance

• Drive automation and AI-driven analytics for risk monitoring, hedging and reporting, working closely with engineering and data teams

• Ensure regulatory compliance and best execution, maintain risk policies and controls, and report regularly to executive management

• Lead the Quant, Dealing and Trade Operations teams, own the department’s KPIs and budget, and work closely with the CEO on strategic decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the Forex/CFD/Crypto brokerage industry, including at least 3 years in a senior Risk Management, Dealing, or Trading leadership role

• Deep understanding of CFD brokerage business models

• Proven experience managing significant trading volumes, client exposure, and trading book profitability

• Strong knowledge of liquidity management, hedging strategies, market risk, and execution infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with MetaTrader 4/5, liquidity bridges, and aggregation platforms

• Advanced understanding of FX, precious metals, indices, commodities, equities, and cryptocurrency CFDs

• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven commercial decisions

• Experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and automated controls

• Proven leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skills

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Russian

Plus

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis technologies

• Experience implementing automated dealing, hedging, and risk monitoring systems

• Knowledge of CySEC, MiFID II, EMIR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks

• Experience operating brokerage businesses across multiple jurisdictions

• Familiarity with machine learning, AI-based analytics, and fraud detection technologies

• Experience launching new trading products, synthetic instruments, or OTC trading solutions
