Compliance Ops Specialist (Process Automation)

Freedom Finance Europe Ltd is a regulated European online broker headquartered in Cyprus, providing access to US, European and Asian capital markets and a broad range of investment services and financial products. We operate in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment where product speed, client trust, marketing accuracy, regulatory discipline and legal architecture must work together. We are now strengthening our Legal Unit and looking for a senior legal leader to head one of its key expert departments.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Compliance Operations Specialist with a strong focus on process automation, data handling, and workflow optimization. This role is not a traditional AML compliance position — it is closer to a compliance automation / operations / data analyst role within the Compliance team. The main goal is to help the team build more efficient, scalable, and automated compliance processes across onboarding, monitoring, reporting, and internal controls.

What you will do

● Support the automation of compliance-related operational workflows, reporting, dashboards, and risk metrics;

● Help optimize alert handling, case prioritization, and onboarding processes;

● Work on automation of risk scoring and internal compliance reporting;

● Prepare structured inputs for developers and help define requirements for more complex

technical integrations;

● Maintain and improve reports, dashboards, and data-driven monitoring tools;

● Work closely with Compliance, Risk, IT, and business teams;

● Gradually deepen your understanding of AML and compliance processes within the fintech environment;

● Learn the company’s compliance frameworks and business model, and grow into AML- related operational profecional over time.

What we expect

● Strong interest in process automation, AI tools, and vibe coding;

● Practical experience using AI agents / no-code / low-code tools to automate workflows and routine tasks;

● Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements for the IT team;

● Experience or willingness to work with automated reports, dashboards, and operational metrics;

● Fluent Russian and English B1+ / Intermediate or higher;

● Willingness to learn compliance operations and gradually build expertise in AML processes;

● Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ownership.

Will be a plus

● Previous experience in fintech, banking or a similar fast-paced digital environment;

● Experience automating business processes;

● Technical, economics, or finance education;

● Experience with BI tools and reporting;

● Knowledge of or hands-on experience with SQL / PostgreSQL.
