Lead DevOps Engineer

Brainsome is looking for a Lead DevOps engineer to join our team in Cyprus!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the existing infrastructure system.

• Collaborate with the Development team to enhance production stability, availability, and reliability.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Work with various cloud providers to support scalable deployments.

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.

• Participate in technical decision-making and process improvements.

Experience:

• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS).

• Proficiency with service mesh solutions (e.g., Consul).

• Skilled in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).

• Practical expertise in managing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Redis: performance tuning, replication, and backup strategies.

• Working knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Applied experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of load balancers such as HAProxy.

• Management experience of a senior team of 3+ people.
