Junior Operational Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Operational Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations, invoice processing, reconciliations, and month-end activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial records. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work efficiently with routine tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP systems and international operations will be considered an advantage. Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting software
• Process and verify Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
• Handle and maintain primary accounting documentation
• Perform basic bank and ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits
• Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoices and payments
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and operational requests

Required experience

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations
• Basic understanding of Accounts Payable processes and accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills, including filters, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage, preferably NetSuite
• High attention to detail and ability to manage routine tasks efficiently
• Experience working with multiple jurisdictions is considered a plus
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
