Technical Lead (Hands-on)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (Hands-on) to strengthen the team behind our flagship project, Hero Wars: Alliance. 

What you’ll be doing

Product Development & Delivery

• Planning work for features and projects, and estimating task timelines

• Contributing across all aspects of development - from client-side and backend logic to ensuring overall product quality

• Making architectural decisions and participating in designing technical solutions

• Optimizing performance, improving application stability, and enhancing code quality

• Conducting code reviews

• Driving improvements to development processes and the delivery pipeline

• Keeping development tools and artifacts up to date, including documentation, task trackers, and other essential project documentation

Engineering Excellence

• Ensuring compliance with the project's engineering quality standards

• Promoting and enforcing engineering best practices and development processes, including solution design, code reviews, testing, incident analysis, and more

Important: This is initially an individual contributor role. You will independently implement the majority of the functionality, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle within your area of responsibility. QA engineers and backend developers will be involved when needed. At the initial stage, there is no expectation of managing a large team or of taking on significant people-management responsibilities.

We hope that you have

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer (C#) or Unity Developer

• At least 1 year of experience leading a development team as a Tech Lead or Team Lead

• Deep understanding of software architecture and hands-on experience designing scalable technical solutions

• Experience establishing and improving development processes to ensure transparency and on-time delivery

• Ability to communicate team values and motivate engineers toward shared goals

• Strong goal-setting, execution tracking, and constructive feedback skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster effective collaboration, negotiate, and resolve conflicts within the team
