Trading Platform Administrator

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established globally regulated Australian broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time Trading Platform Administrator in our Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.

This role is crucial for maintaining the stability, security, and high availability of our trading infrastructure. Your expertise in trading platform administration, risk management, and IT systems will ensure smooth operations and an optimal trading experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure stability, security, and high availability of MT4/MT5 servers and trading platforms
• Manage and configure trading & aggregation engines, bridges, and liquidity provider connectors
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations for trading infrastructure
• Provide technical support for trading services and address platform-related issues
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Implement and maintain risk management protocols within trading systems
• Participate actively in the development of complex applications and system improvements
• Conduct testing and validation of trading platform functionalities
• Stay updated with industry trends and recommend new technologies for system enhancements
• Provide technical assistance to other departments regarding platform-related matters

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Advanced knowledge of trading platforms such as MT4/MT5 and cTrader
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MT4/MT5 server administration and bridge management (OZ and YB experience is an advantage)
• Experience with CRM, Atlassian, Jira, and other relevant tools
• Strong understanding of networking services and database concepts (MySQL/SQL)
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is a plus
• Understanding of foreign exchange products, CFDs, and securities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Effective time management and teamwork skills
