Junior IT Support Specialist

We are a CySEC-regulated financial services entity committed to maintaining the highest standards of IT security and operational resilience. We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional eager to develop their technical skills and gain exposure to DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and IT regulatory requirements within a regulated financial environment.

You will provide critical technical support to our employees while working closely with senior IT, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure our systems and infrastructure meet the stringent requirements of financial services regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day 1st and 2nd line IT support to employees
• Assist with hardware and software troubleshooting, user accounts, and access rights management
• Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
• Assist with IT security initiatives, documentation and asset management
• Maintain accurate IT records and support internal IT procedures
• Assist with DORA-related activities, including ICT risk management, documentation, controls and compliance requirements
• Work closely with senior IT, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment
• Contribute to incident response and problem resolution in a timely manner

Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification in IT or related field preferred
• 0-2 years of professional IT support experience or equivalent technical background
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in IT regulatory compliance and financial services IT environments
• Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively as part of an IT team

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in the financial services, banking, or regulated industry environment
• Familiarity with DORA, CySEC regulations, or other regulatory frameworks
• CompTIA A+, Security+, or similar IT certifications
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools
• Knowledge of network security fundamentals and IT best practices
