Business Development Manager
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across both existing and new verticals within blockchain infrastructure provisioning.
Responsibilities
Territory & Account Penetration
Collaborate with AEs to map and prioritize target accounts across Web3 infrastructure, DeFi, blockchain startups, and enterprises.
Execute outbound outreach via calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn to secure qualified meetings.
Inbound Lead Qualification
Screen and qualify inbound leads from Marketing, ensuring prospects meet key qualification criteria before handing off to AEs.
Provide detailed prospect context and technical needs summaries to the sales team.
Customer & Market Engagement
Conduct discovery and qualification calls to uncover technical requirements (RPC usage, node deployment, latency, throughput, security needs), business goals, and budget.
Represent GetBlock at Web3 conferences, hackathons, and industry events; book meetings and follow up to maximize ROI.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement
Collect market intelligence (objections, competitors, feature requests) and share insights with Product and Marketing.
Track outreach metrics (open, reply, connect rates) and work with Sales Ops to optimize messaging and cadences.
Stay up to date on Web3 infrastructure, DeFi, and blockchain scalability trends to position GetBlock’s value proposition effectively.
Qualifications
Language & Market Expertise
Fluent English, written and spoken.
1–3+ years of BDR/SDR experience in B2B SaaS, Web3, DevTools, or cloud infrastructure.
Technical & Sales Skills
Basic understanding of blockchain infrastructure (RPC, nodes, validators, DeFi protocols, L1/L2s, MEV, etc.).
Experience with outbound prospecting, qualification frameworks, and CRM workflows (Experience with HubSpot, Outreach, or similar sales engagement tools)
Soft Skills & Mindset
Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to talk to technical founders and engineers.
Collaborative team player with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
