The Team

The Omega team of six developers owns a few domains:

  • The flagship company product – a web platform for construction workers

  • Subsystem that provides core services like authorization, authentication, and permission management to all the TA engineering teams

  • And we are engaged in a brand new product prototyping and development as well

The Role

We are looking for a confident and ambitious TypeScript+React full-stack developer with experience building comprehensive web applications, ideally with map functionality. The candidate should be fulfilling complicated business requests of two sorts:

  • Quick and most likely disposable prototypes to check product hypotheses

  • Robust production solutions that make construction people happy, and endure years remaining flexible, scalable, and maintainable

A new team member is going to join market hypothesis testing and maintain the main client-facing TA product and satellite applications, closely collaborate with the designers and product managers, and take part in automated testing, deployment, releases, and monitoring.

Back: TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js, Nest.js), Python (AWS Lambda)

Front: TypeScript, React, Maplibre, Zustand

Testing: Mocha, Playwright

CI/CD: Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Nginx, Kubernetes

Databases: MongoDB

Clouds: AWS S3, EC2, Lambdas, CloudWatch, Athena, etc.

Tools: Git, Asana, Grafana/InfluxDB, Google Workspace

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of TypeScript front- and backend development experience

  • Any backend JS/TS framework experience

  • Proficient in modern React

  • Confident git user, git flow

  • AWS or other cloud platform experience

  • Ready to work and grow in a cross-functional paradigm

  • Automated software testing

  • Basic algorithms and data structures understanding

Nice to have

  • Awareness of modern technologies and approaches Web maps, GIS

  • Firm Nest.js understanding

  • CI/CD practicing experience

  • DevOps mindset — we are the ones who both develop and run our software platform

  • Design Patterns

  • Good algorithms and data structures
