Responsibilities:

• Setting goals and objectives for the department team, monitoring performance and evaluating results
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing team members
• Preparing and submitting reports and analyzing their impact on the company’s financial stability
• Monitoring the credit portfolio, analyzing default rates and profitability, and implementing improvement measures
• Collaborating with other departments to minimize risks
• Developing, maintaining, and improving the credit scoring system, ensuring its relevance
• Evaluating the effectiveness of automation systems and decision support systems (DSS), and continuously improving algorithms
• Tracking market trends and implementing modern automation, analytics, and forecasting models
• Creating data visualizations (dashboards, reports) for effective data presentation
• Developing and tracking performance metrics for the department (default rate reduction, application processing time, error minimization, etc.)

Requirements:

• Experience in banks and financial institutions
• Strong Excel skills
• Data Science and Machine Learning skills (working with large datasets)
• Strong analytical mindset
• Teamwork skills
• Stress resistance and high analytical capability
• Proactiveness and ability to make independent decisions

Additional comments on the role and candidate profile:

• Preferred age: up to 35 years old
• Salary: UAH 130,000–150,000 for Ukraine and remote abroad
• €3,300 for relocation to Cyprus (or relocation from Ukraine)
• Experience in fintech, banking, and working with large datasets is required
• Strong Data Scientist candidates with management experience may be considered, though risk management experience is preferred
• Background in banking, fintech, or gambling industries is a plus
