QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead/Senior QA Engineer who will take ownership of testing and automation across the product and help shape how quality is built, validated, and released. You’ll be joining a small QA setup and will play a key role in defining testing strategy, automation priorities, and release readiness.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in test automation (Python/ Javascript) 

• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools

• Solid understanding of automation-first QA practices

• Experience optimizing CI/testing pipelines

• Ability to balance hands-on work and process ownership

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• High level of ownership, and engineering mindset

• Comfortable working in a startup environment with ambiguity

Nice-to-have

• 2+ year of experience in automation leadership 

• Experience building QA/automation processes from scratch

• Use of scripting / AI tools to automate QA workflows

Responsibilities

• Build and own QA testing processes from scratch (focus on automation-first approach)

• Design and implement test automation strategy, tooling, and frameworks

• Define testing priorities, backlog, and automation roadmap

• Drive reduction of manual testing

• Take ownership of test coverage, quality gates, and release readiness

• Identify bottlenecks in testing and environment setup and optimize end-to-end QA workflows

• Collaborate closely with backend, DevOps, and platform teams

• Automate internal QA routines (scripts, tooling, data extraction, reporting)

• Contribute hands-on to automation
