WordPress Developer (Middle)

Web Design Sun is a software development company founded in 2012. We have been fully remote from day one and build international products in Web & Cloud Applications, SaaS, CRM/ERP, and eCommerce. We collaborate with clients from the US and Europe and consistently rank highly on Clutch, GoodFirms, and Upwork.

We are looking for a Middle WordPress Developer who wants to work on long-term projects, be involved in real product development for clients, and gradually grow to a Senior level.

📍 Location: Candidates must be based outside Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus

What we expect from a candidate:

• 2+ years of commercial experience with WordPress

• Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce functionality

• Experience in developing and customizing themes and plugins

• Experience working with ACF Pro and Gutenberg (ACF-based and/or custom blocks using Block API)

• Practical experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS within WordPress development

• Understanding of responsive and cross-browser layout principles

• Experience working with Figma

• Confident use of Git

• English level B1 or higher (spoken and written communication)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of React.js, Vue.js, Node.js

• Experience with Elementor Builder

• Knowledge of any JS or PHP frameworks

• Participation in code reviews and technical discussions

Your responsibilities:

• Develop new features and maintain existing WordPress projects

• Work on eCommerce projects based on WooCommerce

• Participate in technical discussions, planning, and solution improvements
