Backend .NET Engineer - Markets

Join B2Tech as a Backend Engineer to join its growing Markets team. The Markets Team is responsible for integrating, transforming, and delivering sports data across client channels. The team connects to external sports data providers, processes and enriches this data, and powers the sportsbook experience with reliable markets, odds, and event information. Markets provides essential tools and services to the Risk Team and supports all operator brands with scalable, high-performance data solutions.

YOUR IMPACT

• Own integrations with external sports data providers, ensuring stable ingestion of events, markets, odds, and settlement data with clear failover paths.
• Build and run data pipelines that normalize, transform, and enrich provider feeds into clean internal schemas.
• Develop and maintain the Market Service that creates, updates, suspends, and manages the full lifecycle of betting markets.
• Support the Risk Team by implementing pricing logic, rules, overrides, and controls for market availability.
• Design a modern, microservice-based platform (e.g., Kafka, MongoDB, SQL Server, Kubernetes) that scales for real-time, high-traffic sports events.
• Safeguard data quality and reliability with validations, discrepancy checks, SLAs on freshness/latency, and strong monitoring and alerting.
• Work closely with Risk, Sports Channels, Payments & Settlement, Tech Support, QA, and Operations to provide clear APIs, accurate settlement data, and helpful documentation.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience as a developer, with at least 2 years developing in C#.
• 3+ years of experience with .NET.
• Motivated, innovative, and results-driven person!
• Very good knowledge of SQL databases, including experience in schema design, query writing, and stored procedure development.
• Experience with RESTful services.
• Understanding of system architecture, including statelessness, caching, and services.
• Hands-on experience with top agile methodologies: test-driven development and CI/CD environments.
• Handling performance issues.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experienced in cloud environment development. Public cloud platforms (AWS mostly)
• Experience with Redis Cache or any equivalent NoSQL Database.
